Hello, welcome to the Amy Skill Tree description.

—-

First of all I want to apologize for our lack of experience with the Amy Skill Tree, and if you can take nothing else from this description at all, check out littlebk’s video for the skills that look cool. That’s always a positive, right? This took forever to put together and we’re just now getting it released AFTER the maintenance started, we’re that good. Thank you Hibiki and Kowiz for filling in a HUGE majority of these skills (all of them), and Firest for attempting, but he went afk. These things are easier and way more accurate when I’ve had prior experience with the tree but I just have none with Amy (or Ronan for the matter, that one was a toughy too). So enjoy what we can provide.

If you see an x, that means it’s an unknown variable, in which case none of us had any idea. Apologies beforehand, but I believe the x’s are pretty rare. Any mistakes, please comment. Criticism and encouragement is welcomed, help us do better next time!

With the upcoming release of Dancer’s Skill Tree in North America, it’s only appropriate we introduce the description for her as well. This guide will consists of Cow creating the frames of the guide, while Hibiki, Kowiz, and Firest providing information on Amy’s Skills.

Don’t forget Amy has two separate tabs, dancing and normal, which means you need to unlock 6 skills instead of 3. Her basic tab is also split based on dancing skills and fighting skills.

Let’s start.

This is how we’re going to do it: Basic Tab – Fighting Tab – Dancing Tab – Shared Tab

First – Basic Tab

Yep, 99% of it sounds useless.

I’ll be leaving the normal tab alone. That 10/10 skill sounds like it knockdowns, and I know the ‘airgrab’ combo skill does for sure… bad for dungeons.

    Skills, I’ll be avoiding ShyShy.

Although, with Blazing… is Amy now an Arme counter? Does it work on Stone Curse Spam? Too bad it dosen’t negte all effects [Flame Arrow], just ones that hold you still.

It also seems that the PvP loding screen may have been a ‘Pre-teaser’. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the patch notes last week, there were no events, and it seems [Although there's no patch notes yet, the update picture thing's been updated], we’re not getting Amy’s ST this week, as there’s nothing about it there, while it’s talking about a filler event and Victor’s Fortress.

  6. Vpower says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

The character is shadowed out when it’s a teaser. Amy’s loading screen isn’t shadowed out lol.

  7. Europhica says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

    @ Allosawyou

    Check the loading screen

  8. Cybolt says:

I see the ST for Amy is out and it looks great. Keep up the good work.

  9. FoxFX says:

Wish we knew which skills are good in dungeons though…

  10. Lluvia Loxar says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Oh goodie. Love you guys. Now I can spend my skill keys knowing what does what :)

  11. Anon says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

so a full gper won’t even spend all their SP.

    Btw:her default critical costs 2 SP? i think that’s a typo sicne it’s a default skill XD

It’s kinda sad how the focus of these Skill trees aims at the mp moves, when the basic tab is a huge part of the character. There’s qutie a bit of missing info for it, and it needs to be redone or updated. People need to know if she’s better with any of her new moves in dungeons than her other 3 jobs.

  12. eNeMy_iNfEcTeD says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

I’m not to impressed as far as the skill tree goes. I think I’ll stick to her second job dungeoning, and her third for PvP for now, until i get Starlet :D then it’s Starlet both ways. My friend who uses Amy all the time won’t be impressed by this skill tree…. but I know some people will love it and be great at it. Ty for the post of all skills and descriptions everyone who pitched in!

  13. eNeMy_iNfEcTeD says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

And i meant Muse for second and Siren for third. In case anyone thought I didn’t know XD

For your sake, I’ll be sure to leave comments once I unlock things…

  15. IcySasuke says:

I think the “Taunt” is wrong :P
iirc it makes the Amy buff ( X X ) stronger, with higher defense,.
I might be wrong since I never tested it (the taunt) after the skill tree, but on bGC description it makes the buff stronger.

    Still an awesome guide =)
amy skill tree isn’t the best, but if used correctly can be good ^_^

    You’re right, it’s been fixed :)

    Thanks!

  17. Ashchu says:

So, not a SINGLE new skill for a GPer?
    ;-;

Thanks Cow and everyone, now I know what to get when I use a skill key =]

  18. DuckiePlucky says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Omg~! Finally sorry for the big rush Cow, anyway OOOH I’m going to have fun with my Amy’s ST since she is actually able to get all of the skills available on the skill tree, but I think Amy Dance is going to make me laugh my head off since I might try and mess with it and see if I get lucky~ XD

  19. Arredoval says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

How exactly does Fan Service work? Does the healing effect keep going as long as Amy dances, or is the continuous dancing only for aesthetics?

  20. Hibiki says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Amy will continue dancing, until you press X, being hitted or using another skill.

It has 1 second of duration, and it keeps renovating if you’re on the area.

BR says that this skill is bugged, because it doesn’t recovers HP.

  21. Lluvia Loxar says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Yea atm in NAGC, Fan Service doesnt heal at all. It’s such a LOL skill that I won’t bother unlocking it xD. I’m currently loving Stigma lv 2 and Psycho Crusher lv 2. Awesome skills indeed <3

  22. Zelda says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Nice! can’t wait to go home and try my Amy to see what can I do xD [but she is only lvl 40 *-*] .. i’ll leave some comments after the use of her ST :3 [I have 2 keys saved for her, looking in which skill gonna be used .. or saved for later xD!]

  23. Soundfile says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

With NA’s patch I think they brought new version of files cause the patcher was patching every single file, sound files from other areas cannot be placed within the NA folder otherwise results in a box saying unauthorized file modification has been detected game client shutting down.

  24. Ragology says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

My Amy is doing the same amount of damage no matter which level of “loving you” is equipped so I don’t think it actually increases her damage more than level one.

  25. Shugo says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

“Dance Fever Ups the attack not “Loving you” Unless you meant Dance Fever. I think the Range and Duration just increases but I haven’t logged on yet…stupid patcher made my reinstall GC :(

  26. Rippedshadow says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Since I have 4 keys left over from other events, anything that’s a lolomgmustget?

I probably won’t use Amy much though… She is level 16, so I guess I’ll go for her 2nd job since her ST is out.

    Also: B> 2nd job STs. :x

  27. Shugo says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Well my SP count in NAGC is different than Cow’s o.0 (Parenthesis will show Cow’s)
    Basic – 9 (9)
    Skill – Fight/ 5 (8) | Cash: 13 (13)
    – Dance/ 7 (11) | Cash: 14 (14)
    Shared – 14 (14)

  28. Ragology says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Ahh my mistake, I meant to say “Dace fever” lol, but still they all do the same amount of damage. And also, loving you does indeed boost attack power and has been doing so since at least last year. Loving you secretly boosts attack power while it restores HP.

I’ve gone through all three loving you’s and both dance fevers and they all raise attack by the same amount.

  29. Vpower says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

so if I go with Shugo’s counting… you can unlock everything except for 1? LOL (With Cash included)

  30. Hexi says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

When I used Fan Service in PvP it seemed to do its job just fine. I’m assuming it’s only bugged in dungeons, then?

  31. flashfury3 says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

O_O Loving You really does increase your attack, I just tried it.
It’s the same as Dance Fever and heals but it’s only 15 seconds o___o

  32. Bluey says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Ummm, is that shared skill Blessing glitched or something? Doesn’t seem to work in dungeons. No effect at all.

  33. Lluvia Loxar says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Blessing is random. It’s not always 100%. I was at Wyrms yesterday when a teammate of mine used Blessing. There was a Magmok with Petrify and It hit me but didn’t petrify. It hit them and they got petrified. That’s how it works. :S

  34. Lluvia Loxar says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Oh and 1 more thing, Amy learned how to fly properly. There’s a new type of flight that actually “flies” and Amy elevates continuously. Rage. Must learn how to do it x_x

  35. Zelda says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Blessing its all random =/ apprently it can cure the effect too .. but its soo random, I needed to spam it to see the effect D: .. orm aybe just the effect passed away for it own xD! I need to do more research, but i found it a litle more “effective” healing the effect that actually preventing it.

Far now, i found the Basic Fighter skills like combo & double attack [need to check if it it this last one or its another] very usefull on dungeon .. and pvp! looks like now i can recover my mp faster as a fighter as than as dancer – when was the opposite situation before ST.

  36. EvilKyou says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

Did u know saku crush lvl 1 is stronger backwards o_o

    the delay also dmges xD

  37. Anonymous says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

I have finally figured out Blessing through testing. Blessing does not work on yourself, it only works on party members. When a party member stone cursed or frozen you run up to them (next to or on them) and use it. If the pink light flashes above Amy’s head, they’ll break free of Stone Curse or freeze without taking any damage.

It’s a party support skill that involves you use it next to a teammate in those status effects.

  38. Hexi says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

I apologize, forgot to write my name… came out as anonymous…

  39. Hexi says:

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

EDIT: Seems Blessing will now cure curse on yourself. You don’t get the chance to cure yourself when you’re frozen or petrified, though.

I’m the most fan of amy here on Brazil and i want to share to U …that amy on the video in the final of the topic it’s me

I’m an Amy fan too! I’m playing GCPH and I’ll make sure that I’ll be the best Amy user here!
