A small note before we begin. Ares’ name was changed to General in BGC.

“I came, I saw, I conquered” – The General arrives!

Now, Sieghart’s life is pratically combat. Because he breathes fighting spirit, the brave warrior decided that it was the time to get closer to his roots, casting away his spear and thus losing his advantage of distance. Recovering the ancient twin swords of his family, Sieghart now shows even more destructive power, while he has even more fun with his enemies. Everyone in Bermesiah witnessed the valor and skills of the Commander in battle, and he got promoted to General, because there is no doubts about his leadership on the battlefield. However, because he hates titles and formalities, Sieghart started calling himself Ares, comparing himself to the greek God of War.

Release events util 01/13:

1) Job Changing Event: get the General during the event period and win the Sun Knight Accessory set (which is pretty crappy) for 7 days (not worth it).

Events for the Start of a New Year

1) When you log in the game for the first time, you will win the permanent GWC Wings, in honor of Strife Team, for getting the third place in the World Championship.

2)(Util 01/20) Get your attendance and you will receive a 2010 Box, which when opened gives you random Big Heads and the 2010 Glasses (timed or permanent). You can also get those boxes while finishing dungeons or PVPs.

3) Rainbow Event: Everyday the server will have diferent bonuses, and three times a day the rainbow will shine brightly, activating all 7 bonuses.

01/06/2010: +50% EXP in Dungeons
01/07/2010: +50% GP in every mode
01/08/2010: +50% Refining Rate for Runes
01/09/2010: Free Entrance in the Champion Mode
01/10/2010: +50% Refine Rate for Necklaces
01/11/2010: +50% EXP in PVP Matches
01/12/2010: +20% Item Drop rate in Dungeons

Summer Screenshots Event:
Prize: 850 CASH (11,45 Dollars/19,90 Reais)
Theme: Your characters enjoying the Summer in game.
Rules: You must send a form with your Full Name, User Name, Character Name and the JPG Screenshot to grandchase@levelupgames.com.br. The time limit is 02/02, and the E-mail subject must be “Concurso de Screenshots de Verão”. Digitally edited images will not be allowed.

Ares Video Contest:
Prize: 8200 CASH (86,25 Dollars/149,90 Reais)
Theme: It can be pretty much everything, if the main focus of the video is the General (Ares).
Rules: You must send a form with your Full name, User Name, Character Name and the link of the video on YouTube to grandchase@levelupgames.com.br. The e-mail subject must be “Concurso de Vídeos do General”. You have util 02/02 to submit your work. Your video cannot have real life images, improper images, registered trademarks and must not be taken from somewhere in the internet.

Hello. Firest is here with the latest news from BGC!
Today our patch will include: Pre-Release Events for the General (Ares), and the release of the Christmas Pet, Nyami! More things may be released, because the patching is not done yet. I advise you to wait for more news!

Thanks to waluigiwong for the Screenshots and interest in the Hong Kong (Sorry put wrong country) updates.

Hong Kong will be getting the guild system on the 16th, and will be receiving Amy Skill Tree today.

This is the third server that I know of, that has announced their guild system. The other two are Korea and Brazil.

Also, Hong Kong will be getting Ares very soon as well, which means KOG will need to push out some more updates soon in KR, since Hong Kong now has Amy’s Skill Tree and Ares (The latest releases):
