Dio has been released before Sieghart’s ST, and though this came as no shock to me, some of our forumers are a little… Disgruntled. (Poor Sia. D:) But at least he’s here for all you fans, right? Heck man, he’s even got a level up event going on. (here) His Seal Breaker set was added to our server, and with it we became aware of Dio’s official NAGC color, Amaranth. Which by the way, happens to be considered a weed. <:

The “new ranking system” we received was the return of proper letter grades. Thank goodness, right? Now how about balancing PvP so stats actually matter again. And no, that doesn’t simply mean removing MP regen properties, KoG.

-Timed Ellian Accesories-
The timed Ellian gear that has shown up in higher servers has made it our way, the packages are available for 3, 5 and 7 days.

-UGC bonuses-
Ultimate Game Card has a bonus going on that will give you timed Pink Matrix Glasses. $10 for 7 days and $20 or more for 14 days. I’ve not found an SS of them yet, nor can I get a UGC card to SS them myself, but odds are they’re not that great. Timed items rarely are, haha.

The bugs:

There are quite a few fun bugs thrown into the mix with this patch. One of them is that poses during PvP loading screens are all mixed up. Your Dancer may pose as a Dragon Knight, your Savior as a Battle Mage. Some of these poses don’t look half bad.

A similar bug involving the shop has come our way as well, allowing you to equip weapons from other characters and jobs.

How it’s done: While in the shop, be on the equip tab and sort the items the way you want, on the character you want. Then you enter the Couple window and select the character you want to apply the equips to. When you exit the window, you’ll still see the first character on the view screen, simply click a weapon and WHAM. Your Elesis is now wielding a bow. :3

Anyway let’s get onto the events that came up this week:

Look familiar? It should. This was our event for Knight master a couple of months ago. This time we get the ever exclusive Emily pet. Wasn’t she Thai exclusive? Now BR and NA has her, right?

Next is the Dio Event, which is kind of weird but ok:

You can pre-purchase his Cash mission and use it on the 18th. I haven’t actually checked to see if his mission was cheaper or anything so do as you please. Keep in mind you CANNOT USE THE SCROLL UNTIL THE 18th. This might end up tricking some people into thinking the GP isn’t available until later and cash is available immediately, since not everyone reads event notices.

This week was just another filler event, and that came to no shock of the general NAGC forumers. This patch also ended the “Buffs for beginners” (here) event, though it technically ended on the 20th. No new events, a major bug fix, an update on the news of another major bug, and a new set. Standard filler, haha. Here’s the set, ugly as it is:

Additionally, Seal Breaker spaces were added to our Summer Fun Boards.

And apparently, our version of Ariel gives two full bars of MP with a full hit, and is much more powerful than the KGC version. I’ll try and get a video sometime.

The bugs:

Fixed: An existing bug that prevented characters from obtaining Silver Land missions. These missions are obtained by completing the quest “An Injured Knight.” The Quest chain is apparently 6 quests long and applied only to characters that did not initially receive Silver Land quests.

• Via GM Chaos: “there was a bug where certain missions would not continue or not received for some of the old players who played the game before the dungeon revamp. so we distributed the missions again for certain players for certain characters. it only affects certain levels and certain characters. ” (here)

Existing: The bug that is causing rollbacks of items, experience, levels and jobs is continuing to wreak havoc on us at NAGC, but an official response from Ntreev was issued a few days ago.
